1) ALL BOATS AND LIVE-WELLS WILL BE CHECKED BEFORE BLAST-OFF. LIVE-WELLS SHOULD BE FACTORY INSTALLED, IF NOT THEY ARE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION BY THE DIRECTOR.

2) ALL BOATS MUST OPERATE IN A SAFE MANNER AT ALL TIMES.

3) ALL BOATS AND EQUIPMENT MUST BE COAST GUARD APPROVED.

4) ALL BOATS MUST FOLLOW POSTED RULES ON THE LAKE

5) BOATS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CARRY EXTRA FUEL TANKS. (ONLY ONE FUEL TANK THAT IS HOOKED TO THE MOTOR IS ALLOWED) ANY ADDITIONAL FUEL USED DURING THE TOURNAMENT DAY MUST BE PURCHASED FROM A RETAIL FACILITY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THE DIRECTOR MUST BE NOTIFIED BEFORE BLAST-OFF WHEN A TEAM PLANS TO USE THIS OPTION.

6) NO OVER POWERED BOATS WILL BE ALLOWED. (THE HORSEPOWER OF THE ENGINE MUST MEET THE MAX HORSEPOWER RATING ON THE BOAT)

7) BOATS LESS THAN 14’ IN LENGTH WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. BOATS LESS THAN 16’ IN LENGTH MUST BE INSPECTED BY THE DIRECTOR TO ENSURE THAT THE BOAT IS SAFE & TOURNAMENT READY WITH THE PROPER LIGHTS, PROPER AERIATED LIVEWELL, & THAT THE MOTOR HAS AN OPERABLE KILL SWITCH. THE BOAT MAY ONLY HAVE ONE APPROVED FUEL TANK THAT IS CONNECTED TO THE MOTOR. REFER TO RULE # 5. REFER TO RULE #42 & #43.

8) ALL BOATS MUST HAVE A LIVE WELL OF SUFFICIENT SIZE THAT IS PROPERLY AERATEDrt of me and selecting the options from the toolbar.

9) ALL BOATS MUST HAVE RUNNING LIGHTS

10) TEAMS MUST WEAR THEIR LIFE JACKETS WHEN ON PLANE & THE BOATER MUST HAVE A KILL SWITCH CONNECTED TO HIS PERSON WHEN THE BOAT IS ON PLANE.

11) MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY LAKE OF CHAMPIONS EVENT, OR 16 WITH WRITTEN CONSENT FROM A GUARDIAN.

12) UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION.

 13) CONTESTANTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THEIR BOATS DURING THE TOURNAMENT FOR ANY REASON EXCEPT FOR AN EMERGENCY . IN THE EVENT THAT NATURE CALLS ONE TEAM MEMBER MUST REMAIN IN THE BOAT AND MAY NOT RESUME FISHING UNTIL BOTH MEMBERS ARE IN THE BOAT. IF THE BOAT IS CAUGHT ON OBSTRUCTION THEN THAT TEAM IS ALLOWED TO EXIT THE BOAT TO REMOVE THE BOAT FROM OBSTRUCTION. TEAMS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EXIT THE BOAT TO PUSH THE BOAT OVER OBSTRUCTIONS TO GAIN ACCESS TO AN AREA. ( SEE RULE # 47 & 48 ) THE USE OF A PUSH POLE IS ALLOWED.

14) EMERGENCIES: IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY WHETHER SIMPLE OR SERIOUS, IT IS THOSE PERSON’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT THE DIRECTOR.

15) MINIMUM LENGTH IS 12 INCHES W/ A 5 FISH LIMIT WEIGH-IN: ALL WEIGHTS WILL BE IN 1/100ths OF A POUND (EX: 15lbs 3oz = 15.20lbs) A FISH UNDER 12 INCHES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND RESULT IN A .20 lb TOTAL WEIGHT PENALTY. DEAD FISH WILL BE PENALIZED .40 lbs.

16) TEAMS BRINGING 5 DEAD FISH TO THE WEIGH-IN WILL BE PENALIZED 2.00lbs.

17) LATE PENALTY: TEAMS WILL BE PENALIZED 1 LB. PER MINUTE PAST 3:00pm , ANY TEAM MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. ALL TEAMS MUST BE IN LINE TO WEIGH-IN BY 3:10p.m. IN OPEN TOURNAMENTS TEAMS ALSO HAVE 10 MINUTES AFTER OFFICIAL WEIGH-IN TIME UNTIL THEY ARE DQ’D.

18) ALL FISH MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE WEIGH-MASTER IN A WEIGH-IN BAG WITH ENOUGH WATER TO KEEP FISH ALIVE. IF A TEAM BRINGS A FISH UP TO THE WEIGH-IN BY NET OR BY HAND THAT TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

19) CULLING: ONLY FIVE FISH WILL BE ALLOWED IN A BOAT AT ONE TIME. NEVER SHOULD THERE BE MORE THAN 5 FISH IN A TEAMS LIVE-WELL. ONCE A TEAM HAS CAUGHT THEIR 6TH KEEPER, THAT TEAM IS NOT PERMITTED TO RESUME FISHING UNTIL THEY HAVE CULLED THEIR FISH. VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. CULLING AT WEIGH-IN WILL GET YOU DISQUALIFIED. 

20) TIES:  ALL TIES WILL BE BROKEN BY LUNKER

21) IF A TIE OCCURS FOR TEAM OF THE YEAR, THEN THIS TIE WILL BE BROKEN BY THE TIED TEAM’S LUNKER OF THE YEAR.

22) WEIGHING YOUR LUNKER: -TEAMS MUST WEIGH THEIR LUNKER FIRST. -KNOW WHICH FISH IS YOUR LUNKER BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR BAG TO THE WEIGH-IN. -TEAMS WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED TO WEIGH ONE FISH FOR LUNKER. -TEAMS CAN NOT WIN 1ST & 2ND PLACE LUNKER. -IN EACH POINTS TOURNAMENT THE 2ND PLACE LUNKER PRIZE (IF ANY) WILL BE AWARDED TO THE PERSON WHO CAUGHT THAT FISH. IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT A TEAM MAY NOT WIN 1ST & 2ND PLACE LUNKER. THEIR 1 BIGGEST FISH FOR BOTH DAYS WILL BE THE LUNKER FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT.

23) EXACT WEIGHT LUNKER: ONLY THE FIRST TEAM FOR THE YEAR THAT WEIGHS-IN A LUNKER THAT WEIGHS EXACTLY 2.50 lbs. WILL WIN A FREE (not paid) ENTRY-FEE FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT. A TEAM MAY ONLY WEIGH 1 FISH FOR LUNKER. IF A TEAM HAS A FISH THEY THINK WEIGHS 2.50 lbs., BUT ALSO HAS A BIGGER FISH IN THEIR BAG CAN USE THEIR POTENTIAL EXACT WEIGHT FISH INSTEAD OF THEIR BIGGER FISH AS THEIR LUNKER. NO PENALTY WILL BE GIVEN FOR NOT WEIGHING THE BIGGER FISH AS THEIR LUNKER. ONCE THEIR POSSIBLE EXACT WEIGHT FISH HAS BEEN WEIGHED FOR LUNKER, THEY CANNOT WEIGH ANOTHER FISH FOR LUNKER. 

24) ARTIFICIAL LURES ONLY(WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PORK TRAILERS)

25) ONLY ONE ROD PER PERSON WITH LINE IN WATER AT ONE TIME, NO FLY RODS, NO RODS OVER 8’.

26) NO TROLLING. (LETTING YOUR LURE DRAG BEHIND THE BOAT WHILE THE WIND PUSHES YOU IS CONSIDERED TROLLING)

27) NO FISHING WITHIN 50FT OF ANOTHER BOAT/ NO FISHING WITHIN 100FT OF AN ANCHORED BOAT W/ TROLLING MOTOR UP. NO BLOCKING WATER.

28) TEAMS MUST FISH 4 OUT OF 6 TOURNAMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP. A TEAMS 4 BEST TOURNAMENTS WILL BE COUNTED ALONG WITH THE CHAMPIONSHIP TO DETERMINE TEAM OF THE YEAR.

29) POINTS 1ST-100; 2ND 99; NO FISH=50points..... CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS 1ST-200; 2ND-198; NO FISH=100points (MAY BE ADJUSTED)

30) TO RECEIVE CIRCUIT AWARDS A TEAM MUST QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP & AT LEAST ONE TEAM MEMBER MUST FISH IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP BOTH DAYS.

31) ******BOUGHT ENTRIES: A TEAM MAY BUY 1 ENTRY FEE FOR ANY TOURNAMENT WHERE BOTH MEMBERS WILL BE ABSENT. TEAMS MUST FISH 4 TOURNAMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP. IF A TEAM CANNOT MAKE THEIR 4TH TOURNAMENT, THEN THEY MAY BUY THAT ENTRY. BOUGHT ENTRIES MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT THAT THE TEAM WISHES TO BUY. IF A TEAM CAN’T PAY BEFORE THAT TOURNAMENT, BUT CONTACTS THE DIRECTOR BEFORE BLAST-OFF OF THE TOURNAMENT THAT THEY WISH TO BUY, THEN THAT MONEY WILL GO INTO THE POT FOR THE FOLLOWING TOURNAMENT. THE ENTRY FEE MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE DIRECTOR NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS AFTER THE BOUGHT TOURNAMENT ( given that the team contacted the Director before blast-off for that tournament). THAT TEAM WILL GET A MINIMUM OF 50 points FOR THE TOURNAMENT THAT THEY BOUGHT.

32) SUBSTITUTES: IF A TEAM MEMBER CAN’T SHOW, THAT TEAM IS ALLOWED TO HAVE A SUB. BUT, THE SUB CANNOT BE A MEMBER OF ANOTHER TEAM. 2 FISHERMEN ON DIFFERENT TEAMS CANNOT FISH AS A TEAM. IF A TEAM IS USING A SUB THEN THAT TEAM MUST NOTIFY THE CIRCUIT DIRECTOR. 

33) THERE WILL BE NO PARTNER CHANGES AFTER TOURNAMENT # 4 OF L.O.C.T.C.’s ONGOING SEASON. IF A TEAM WISHES TO CHANGE PARTNERS, THEY MUST DO SO BY OR NO LATER THAN THE DAY OF TOURNAMENT # 4. BUT, GIVEN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES THE DIRECTOR MAY WAIVER THIS RULE FOR EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES ONLY (ex: ILLNESS, DEATH IN FAMILY, OTHER).

34) TEAMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A SUB IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

35) IF A TEAM HAS TO FISH SOLO ON DAY 1 IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP THEIR PARTNER IS STILL ALLOWED TO FISH THE SECOND DAY (OR VICE VERSA).

36) AT LEAST ONE TEAM MEMBER MUST FISH DAY 1 OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT. TEAMS THAT ARE QUALIFIED TO FISH THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND DO NOT SHOW ON DAY 1 WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM TEAM OF THE YEAR STANDINGS, AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO FISH ON DAY 2.

37) *******THERE WILL BE NO PRE-FISHING ALLOWED AFTER THE WEIGH-IN ON DAY 1 OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT.

38) NO ALCOHOL (NO EXCEPTIONS) NO FOUL LANGUAGE

40) ANY PROTESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING TO THE CIRCUIT DIRECTOR AFTER WEIGH-IN; BEFORE PAY-OUT, OR BEFORE BLASTOFF.

41) THE DIRECTOR HAS THE RIGHT TO POSTPONE BLAST-OFF DUE TO FOUL WEATHER UNTIL THAT PERSON FEELS IT IS SAFE.

42) THE DIRECTOR HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ENTRIES.

43) ALL DECISIONS THAT ARE MADE BY THE DIRECTOR ARE FINAL.

44) OPEN TOURNAMENTS- @ PAUL B. NO SLOT FISH SHALL BE WEIGHED IN. TEAMS THAT BRING A SLOT FISH TO THE SCALES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. @ PAUL B. JOHNSON TEAMS MAY WEIGH-IN FISH THAT ARE OVER 12” AND UNDER 18”. ONLY ONE FISH PER PERSON MAY BE WEIGHED IN THAT IS OVER 22”.

45) AT FLINT CREEK, IT IS PAT HARRISON’S POLICY THAT TROPHY FISH MUST BE PUT BACK. IF A TEAM REFUSES TO RELEASE THEIR TROPHY FISH (AT FLINT CREEK ONLY) AFTER THEY WEIGH IT IN THEN THAT TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

46) THE DIRECTOR WILL GIVE INSTRUCTION FOR BLAST-OFF AT PAUL B. – AFTER THE TIME CHANGE THERE IS NO WAKE ON THE LAKE AFTER 7p.m.

47) OFF-LIMITS: TEAMS ARE ALLOWED TO RUN ANYWHERE THAT THEY CAN RUN TO AND MAKE IT BACK ON ONE SINGLE FUEL TANK- (SEE RULE# 5). OFF-LIMIT AREAS: IF ANY, WILL BE APPOINTED BY THE DIRECTOR. IF YOU HAVE TO EXIT YOUR BOAT TO GAIN ACCESS TO AN AREA, THEN THIS AREA IS OFF LIMITS. THE USE OF A PUSH POLE IS ALLOWED.

48) CHEATING: ANYONE CAUGHT CHEATING WILL BE BANNED FROM ANY LAKE OF CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENTS FOR LIFE. THAT PERSON OR PERSONS WILL ALSO BE REPORTED TO ALL OTHER TOURNAMENT TRAILS.

49) THE DIRECTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJUST PAYOUT IF NECESSARY. PAYOUT WILL ALWAYS PAY-BACK 100% ON ALL POINT / QUALIERS.

50) THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT WILL PAY-OUT 100% + MONEY THAT WAS HELD BACK FROM THE POINT / QUALIFIERS AND OPEN TOURNAMENTS.

51) ONCE PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
